How to play
- Pick something to make. Seven recipes in three levels: no heat, mix and make, cook with a grown-up.
- Guess what you'll need, then go on a kitchen mission to find it all and tick it off.
- Check: hands washed, workspace clear, grown-up ready.
- Follow one step at a time. Green: I can do this. Amber: grown-up helps. Red: grown-up does this. Anything hot or sharp is always red.
- Celebrate with a badge, rate the help needed, stamp the passport, then one tiny clean-up job.
Why we made it
Cooking is the most natural learning children do: measuring, counting, following steps, waiting. Little Cook does not replace the grown-up; it gives the child the lead and the grown-up a clear script for when to step in. The passport records what was made and how much help was needed, so a child can see their own independence growing.
Like all our games, it needs no download and no account, collects no personal information, and works in the browser of any phone, tablet or laptop. On a phone you can add it to your home screen from inside the game.
